Register Now for the 2024 FEDA Member Congressional Visits

A key part of FEDA’s mission is to advocate for distributor and dealer policy interests, especially those related to the economy and trade, energy and the environment, labor and immigration, legal and regulatory reform, health care, technology, and transportation and infrastructure. Unfortunately, it seems like every week there is a new piece of legislation or regulatory proposal that would undermine the business needs and health of the foodservice equipment and supplies industry. Many of these proposals are created in a vacuum without the full comprehension of their likely impact on distributors and manufacturers.

The 2024 FEDA Member Congressional Visits, March 19-21, are an opportunity for FEDA members to directly educate their senators and representatives about the issues most important to our industry. All FEDA dealer and manufacturer members are invited to join FEDA Advocacy Council members to participate in the two-day program, which will include a special meeting with business advocates on March 20 and visits with members of Congress on Capitol Hill on March 21. FEDA members’ participation in these meetings will help increase policymakers’ understanding of the foodservice equipment and supplies industry and will expand congressional leader support for FEDA during critical legislative decisions.

Hotel and Transportation Information

Those who join FEDA for this year’s congressional visits will be staying at The Royal Sonesta Washington, D.C. Capitol Hill. Rooms have been reserved for participants for the night of March 20, but are also available upon request for those who need to stay overnight on March 19 or March 21. Note that FEDA will host a dinner for those arriving on March 19, as well as a dinner on March 20. Please email Erin Bedell at erin@feda.com to reserve your sleeping room and include your check-in and check-out dates.
